Accessibility
Investor onboarding should be completable by everyone who needs to complete it. This page sets out our approach and how to ask for help.
Our approach
VeriVest is designed with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a target. Accessibility is treated as part of the build, not a later remediation exercise.
What we design for
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus states
- Sufficient colour contrast, with status never conveyed by colour alone
- Semantic structure and labels for screen readers
- Clear, plain language instructions through the applicant journey
- Forms that can be saved and resumed rather than completed in one sitting
- Responsive layouts that work on smaller screens and at increased zoom
- Descriptive error messages that explain how to correct an issue
Known limitations
Some steps depend on third party providers, including identity verification and electronic signature. Those interfaces are outside our direct control and may not meet the same standard.
Where a step cannot be completed accessibly, an assisted or manual pathway is available so an application is never blocked.
Requesting assistance or reporting a barrier
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or need assistance completing an application, please contact us. We will work with you to provide an alternative way to complete the step and to address the underlying issue.
This statement reflects our design intent during pre launch development. It will be updated with formal audit results once independent accessibility testing has been completed.
